TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All prices quoted are totals per day except for insurance bond.

To Secure a Booking: A Credit card number is all we need to secure your booking, your card will not be charged until 3 working days before the start of your hire.

Hire Payment
Full payment for the balance of the hire charges must be  made before the commencement of hire.

INSURANCE: Vehicle Insurance/ Bond

Full vehicle and third party Insurance is compulsory and is included in the rate quoted per day.

Insurance Bond is compulsory (credit card imprint only and not charged unless Nomad incurs additional costs as a result of your hire.)
All hirers are subject to a bond of NZ$1200.00 (GST included) (the bond does not cover glass breakage) payable at the commencement of hire. The Bond can be paid in the form of a credit card imprint, Cash, Travelers cheques or a Bank transfer, the Bond is fully refundable at the completion of hire providing that :-

  • The vehicle is returned in a reasonably clean and tidy condition –

  • Has not been damaged or involved in an accident –

  • The fuel tank is full and that Nomad Rentals does not incur any expense arising from your hire. N.B All traffic infringements, speeding tickets etc. are the sole responsibility of the driver / hirer and may be deducted from the insurance bond if not resolved by the hirer.

Bond Reduction Options:
The Insurance bond can be reduced from $1200.00nz to either $600.00nz or $100.00nz by paying a daily insurance amount as listed in Options 1or 2.  The daily insurance amount  is calculated depending on the term of hire and in all cases reduces the bond significantly - Please enquire for a quote. 

Windscreen & glass breakage is not covered by the bond but If you choose to reduce the bond by paying daily insurance we quote you for option 1 or 2  then you will have full cover including windscreens. 

Liability
In the event of any unforeseen circumstances or breakdowns, Nomad Car Rentals can only be liable for the amount of your daily hire.

   Cancellation policy
   Policy applies unless other arrangements are negotiated between  NOMAD and the hirer.
